この研究では、主に演劇、ダンスなどの上演芸術を中心に、東南アジアの現代アート実践のの現状を検討する。文献調査、対話とインタビュー、協働創作(創作委嘱)などを行うことによって、現代東南アジアのアートに関わる実践家たちが現代世界における多様な課題と対峙し活動している現状を探究することを目指す
